SUMMARY:Virtual launch: "Energising Women to Advance the Energy Transition in the SADC Region"
DESCRIPTION:Following the postponement of the SADC Sustainable Energy Week\, SACREE has now decided to hold an online event to celebrate the launch of the new project\, "Energising Women to Advance the Energy Transition in the SADC Region." \n  \nThe webinar will take place on Thursday\, December 5th at 9-10AM Central Africa Time (CAT); 8-9 AM Central European Time (CET). \n  \nThe event will feature keynote speakers from ADA\, SACREEE\, and GWNET as well as a special address by H.E. Ambassador Romana Königsbrun. The discussion will be moderated by GWNET Senior Advisor and Co-founder\, Irene Giner-Reichl. In addition to presenting the new project dedicated to empowering SADC women in the region’s energy transition\, the event shall also introduce the Energising Women to Advance the Energy Transition in the SADC Region Mentorship Programme. The call for applications for the mentorship programme officially open following the event.
