DESCRIPTION:On 29 February & 1 March 2024\, FMO and Solarplaza will host the 'Future of Energy' summit in Amsterdam\, uniting a global mix of top project developers\, financial institutions and investors\, service providers\, and asset owners to tackle the strategic challenges of accelerating the renewable energy transition in emerging markets. \nThe global energy and climate future hinges on emerging markets and developing economies (EMDEs) to successfully transition to clean energy systems. For EMDEs\, accelerating the deployment of renewables can bolster their energy access and security\, reduce reliance on fossil fuels\, and meet net-zero targets. Currently\, only a fraction of global clean energy investments flows into EMDEs. How can we redirect attention and financial efforts to the developing world and harness the potential of RE technology to overcome regional challenges related to uncertain policy frameworks\, the rising cost of capital\, and the perceived increase of investment risks? \n'Future of Energy' is a must-attend event for everyone rising to the challenge of RE project development & financing in Asia\, Africa\, Latin America\, and Eastern Europe.
