Webinar: Pre-launch of the UNIDO PURE Growth Fund

Energy powers every link of the agri-food value chain — from irrigation and harvesting to processing, storage and transport. By accelerating the Productive Use of Renewable Energy (PURE) across these multiple value chains, we can transform food systems in the Global South, unlocking low-emission development pathways, improving livelihoods, increasing incomes and building resilience to the impacts climate change.

To drive this transformation, the PURE Growth Fund will launch in Tanzania in May 2025. The fund will support clean energy SMEs and agribusinesses to scale up through a multi-dimensional approach combining incentive capital, technical assistance and fostering an enabling environment for PURE technologies to achieve greater integration within food systems.
